I, too, am a banana bread addict, and I’ve tried several of your versions. You’ve never steered me wrong, so I will keep this recipe handy when I have bananas on my counter. Have a good week, Ashley!
Ohmyword, Ashley – banana bread swirled with chocolate peanut butter, could it get any better than that?! I think not 😉 This would be fabulous with my morning coffee! Becca @ Crumbs and Chaos recently posted..Easy Blackberry Bars
This looks insanely good Ashley! Looks pretty simple for the baking impaired like me! Is it weird that I like breads over cakes most of the time? Haha.

Dark chocolate takes this bread to another level!! Already pinned and can’t wait to try this bread. It wouldn’t last more than 12 hours in my house….and it’s just me and the husband! 🙂 Meghan @ The Tasty Fork recently posted..T-fal & Cooking Planit Giveaway
Bananans never looked so good! I seriously wish that was in my kitchen right now! Love all those chunks on top! And pumpkin baking has started in my kitchen already…I figure why wait 🙂 Jocelyn @BruCrew Life recently posted..Time To Sparkle #24
Oh my goodness, this looks SO good! I’m not usually the hugest fan of banana bread, but this looks mouth-wateringly good. I want a slice right now! amy @ fearless homemaker recently posted..No-Bake Chocolate Mint Bars
You could sure try it! I would try melting a bit of chocolate and stirring it well into the peanut butter-maybe a tablespoon or so of chocolate. Let me know how it turns out!
I live in a country with no chocolate peanut butter, only ordinary peanut butter….is there a way of doing it anyway? Mix in melted chocolate in the peanut butter?
Is it just me or is this recipe confusing? I think that their are parts missing. It doesn’t read that everything has to be separated. It’s fine I just don’t have a swirled banana bread more of just a all over chocolate loaf.
Heycan you please suggest some other substitute for eggs.. ? Cuz we dont eat egg ? This look delicious n am excited to bake one for my husband as he is fond of dark chocolate n this combo is pretty interesting too.. :):)
I made this yesterday….so good! I didn’t have the dark chocolate peanut butter so I added cocoa powder to the batter instead and just used plain PB for the swirl. Doubled the recipe, too!
Seriously a good recipe to keep forever. I did however make some small improvisions. I used coconut oil and cinnamon butter on my first loaf amazing. Now for my second loaf I doubled the recipe and used coconut oil, cinnamon butter, real dark chocolate nibs mixed in the batter, added a little cinamon and a splash of vanilla extract and I added two tablespoons of super chunky regular peanuts butter to mix in with the dark chocolate peanut butter/coconut oil sauce. And it was even more amaaaaaaziiinng. This is a great base recipe. It’s awesome as is and with improvisions. I don’t think this is one that can be screwed up! 🙂

Thanks, Kim! You have a great week, too! Ready for K-State football on Friday??
I am absolutely ready for K-State football! Wish it was more like football weather, but that’s just a dream. EMAW!
I can’t WAIT to see the new stadium! We’re hoping for nice fall weather soon; that will really make it feel like football season. EMAW!

Ashely, is it possible to just mix some chocolate into the peanut butter? I don’t have chocolate peanut butter

I think it would be fabulous!!
It was great! thank you!!
I don’t like to use oil, can I substitute melted butter for the oil?

Hello, this looks delicious!!! I was wondering if you could use Nutella and PB instead of the dark chocolate PB and if itll still turn out the same?
Am i adding all of the chocolate peanut butter and oil mixture only to the center between the layers?
