Don’t even get me started on the crazy weather in this region of the Country! But I would like to come over and have a mug of that hot chocolate!!! Where is the carafe?! This sounds sooo yummy! We had a temperature drop over the weekend as well, not as much as 50 degrees but enough to get me out of capris and into sweats. Definitely time for some good hot chocolate! Terry recently posted..Slow Cooker Coffee Braised Chile Beef
Ooh, i’ve never thought of using malted milk in my hot cocoa – what a fun idea. and love the idea of the peppermint, too – such a great combo! amy @ fearless homemaker recently posted..Chocolate Chocolate-Chip Muffins

Kansas weather sure sounds strange! Not good for the throats for sure! I like the way your little one things though…hot chocolate would definitely make my throat feel better every night. Especially if it was all jazzed up with malt and peppermint sticks! YUM!!! Jocelyn @BruCrew Life recently posted..Gingerbread Oreo Truffle Bark

You melted the marshmallows. In the cocoa……. I LOVE YOU. This is the best looking hot cocoa I’ve ever seen. No joke! And I’m pretty sure the nasty head cold I have right now will be squelched when I make one or five of these this AM. Thank goodness I stocked up on peppermint mallows!
Oh, and speaking of weather, CA is being unpredictable, too. We had like, beautiful 60’s-70’s one week and 90 that weekend. And then rain again on Monday. So annoying! I’m beyond ready to retire my summer clothes in favor of chunky sweaters and booots! Hayley @ The Domestic Rebel recently posted..Apple Pie Poptart Fudge
So far I’m the only one in the house who has escaped the head cold so far…I’m just going to keep drinking this hot chocolate and hope it keeps its distance from me!! Hope you’re feeling better soon, Hayley!

Isn’t it ridiculous? Sometimes my little boy talks me into getting one for him at Starbuck–and then he takes three or four sips and I’m out $4!
