Wake Up Wednesdays

If you’re looking for What’s In Your Kitchen Wednesday, you’re in the right place.  It just looks a little different around here because I’ve teamed up with some really awesome bloggers to host this new and improved weekly party: Meghan from The Tasty Fork, Lisa from Wine and Glue, and Heather from Heather’s French Press.

I’ll be honest. Hosting a weekly link party is a lot of work. More work than I anticipated when I first started hosting, and I haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to it as I’d like.  So I’m thrilled that Meghan, Lisa and Heather are going to pitch in and help me promote YOU.  Because that’s what link parties are all about, right?  Getting your (blog) name out there, making new connections, and growing your readership.

Don’t worry: if you’re used to stopping by when the party opens on Tuesdays at 8pm CST, that’s not changing.  The only difference now is that when you link up, your link will show on all four of our sites.  That means more exposure for you!  You can follow us here:

Each week we’ll choose our favorites as features, and share them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.  Make sure to follow our Wake Up Wednesdays Pinterest Board to see all the amazing features!

So to say thanks in advance for helping us grow this party, we’re having a $100 Target Gift Card Giveaway!  Just enter via the Rafflecopter form below:

On to the features!   This week’s top viewed post were these 2+ Pound Fudgy Brownies from True Blue Baking.  All I can say about these is OMG.  And: pass me the brownies. 2+-Pound-Fudgy-Brownies0

I love macaroni and cheese (I’d ask “Who doesn’t?” but the answer to that is my husband – he’s weird).  And I really, really love Sriracha.  So the great thing about having a hubby who doesn’t like mac and cheese?  I’d get to eat this Sriracha version from Young, Broke and Hungry all by myself.  Score. Mac-and-Cheese-1-2

I eat oatmeal for breakfast nearly every single day, and I love adding in different textures and flavors to change it up. The minute I saw this Almond Joy Oatmeal from The Brunette Baker, I printed out the recipe so I could make it the next morning. So good! Almond Joy Oatmeal

These S’more Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars from The View From 510 Looking In look so sinful.  I mean – cookie dough smooshed between layers of graham crackers and chocolate bars?  Break out the fat pants. smores cookie bars

I’m all about smothering my dinner in cheese, how about you?  I love these Baked Chicken Mozzarella Rolls from See Aimee Cook. bakedmozzarella_opt

Hello There!

Interestingly enough, I didn’t grow up with an interest in cooking.  In fact, I informed my mother on multiple occasions that I was not getting an advanced education so I could spend my evenings preparing meals.
