What’s In Your Kitchen Wednesday

Hi everyone!  Whew, I’m totally relieved that we’re finally through the crazy birthday party season here at my house, but now I have a new thing to stress about…we’re getting ready to start first grade.

I just received an e-mail from Doodle’s new teacher, complete with a supply list…a supply list that requires 25 glue sticks plus extras.  Also?  Four boxes of crayons and a million or so sharpened pencils.  Oh, and about a million kleenex boxes for me when I send my baby off to first grade.

Before we get to the party, make sure you click over and enter the Amazon gift card giveaway I”m co-hosting with a ton of super awesome bloggers.  It’s for $500, so you don’t want to miss it!

This week’s most view post was No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake with a Saltine Crust from Pint-Sized Treasures.  Holy cow, I need to make this ASAP!

I’m also really interested in these Gooey Frito Bars from Julie’s Eats and Treats.  I love the sweet and salty combination, so these are right up my alley!

I’m a fool for easy recipes and crock pot recipes, so this Crock Pot Ravioli from Real Easy Recipes is definitely happening in my kitchen soon!

And wow, there’s nothing I don’t love about this Caramel Banana Tiramisu from Butter, with a side of Bread.

We try to eat fish at least once a week, and in taco form?  With cilantro cream?  Sign me up for these crunchy fish tacos from The Home Heart!

Thank you all so much for coming back each week to make this party a great success! I love seeing all of your great creations, and it’s such an awesome way for me to find new blogs to stalk read.

I totally empathize with you, Ashley. My eldest is an incoming first grader as well, and birthday season at our house is just about to start (five birthday from the end of August through the first of November)! I’m tired just thinking about the next few months… 😉 Have a great week and thanks, as always, for hosting!

Interesting is the right word for those bars! They are scrumptious even though they sound kind of odd! Thanks for the feature and hosting again!

Thank for hosting, Ashley. Even though it’s been a good, long while, I still remember sending my youngest to 1st grade. Yeah, be sure to keep one of those Kleenex boxes you buy for yourself. But, honestly, it’s all good. I’ve loved every age and stage of my kids’ lives (except maybe the snarky 8th grade girl year). Enjoy them all!

10 EASY SLOW COOKER MEALS RECIPE BOOK

Hello There!

Interestingly enough, I didn’t grow up with an interest in cooking.  In fact, I informed my mother on multiple occasions that I was not getting an advanced education so I could spend my evenings preparing meals.
