My grandfather would love these. 🙂 And they are so festive with the red coloring. Love this recipe!! Elaine @ Cooking to Perfection recently posted..Gingerbread Bread Pudding with Eggnog Sauce
The recipe did not call for chilling the dough but I found it necessary to do so–I’ll change the recipe to reflect that. You have to make these, Shirley–they are soooo good!
Ok now this is a cookie I want to eat right now! Of course I have never met a cookie that I didn’t want to eat, but I really really really want to eat this one! Chandra@The Plaid and Paisley Kitchen recently posted..Oreo Stuffed Sugar Cookie Brownies

the soft cookies, almond extract, the cherry cordials – these cookies were made for me. i am a sucker for chocolate/cherry! i’ve never had a cordial kiss though! i need to buy them. i think they’d be dangerous for me but SO SO worth it. 😉 sally @ sallys baking addiction recently posted..chocolate fudge cookies with candy cane buttercream.
Why, oh WHY did I bypass those cherry cordial kisses today at the store? Blasphemy, I tell you! I could have totally made a batch of these since they look AMAZEBALLS. Hayley @ The Domestic Rebel recently posted..Apple Pie Poptart Fudge

Eek! Thank you! I wasn’t sure when it was going to be up today, and we’re still working some stuff out–lots of work ahead of me, but totally worth it. Hey, would you let me know if you get this comment reply? Hoping my plug-in is working!!
I’m with ya – when I make cookies, they’re gonna be stuffed with something chocolately or peanut buttery. But these cookies look gorgeous and so festive! I can’t believe how many products are available in the US that we don’t get in Canada, like the cherry cordial kisses. I need to cross the border and go on a big shopping spree for ingredients! I have to make these when I’m back home! My grandma (RIP) used to make cookies and bread like these and I’ve never ever ever seen a recipe for anything even close. Thank you!! Ziplisting & Pinning! Averie @ Averie Cooks recently posted..Nutella Cinnamon Rolls with Vanilla Glaze
Eek! Thank you so much for stopping by, Averie. These cookies were really fabulous – so soft and pillowy and perfect. Probably not as good as your grandmother’s, but most recipes usually aren’t (I’m really missing my grandmother’s goodies at Christmas now that she is gone). Hope you like these. Have a wonderful holiday!
I bought these Hershey’s kisses last night and have never done anything but gobble them down! I didn’t want to make recipe on bag and found this recipe on Pinterest, and how glad I am. I added some of the cherry juice to my batter to “pinken” them some more. Thank you so much, delicious…….Now onto chocolate and peanut butter cookies.
The texture looks perfect!
These are so pretty. I love pink food, is that strange?

It’s not strange at all! I love anything pink. 🙂
Yes, these were really, really good. Thanks for sharing.
These look fabulous! I’ve done cookies with the M&M’s but not the kisses – yum!

This could be the perfect Christmas cookie. Do you chill the dough before you roll it out? These scream FESTIVE!
