Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Brownies
These Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Brownies are the perfect combination of salty and sweet. And the peanut butter cookie dough contains no egg, so it’s safe to eat right out of the bowl!
This is not a dessert for the faint of heart.
Or for the skinny-jeans wearer.
But holy moly, are these peanut butter cookie dough brownies ever GOOD.
Start with your favorite brownie recipe – might I suggest this one?
Add a layer of eggless peanut butter cookie dough…
…and top them with a layer of buttery chocolate.
I also added some chopped peanut butter M&M’s in with the dough, but that’s completely optional.
These are plenty rich enough without ’em.
But if you’re going to blow your diet, you might as well go full force. 😉
- 1 batch brownies, baked in an 8x8 pan and cooled {I used this one}
- ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons milk (I used almond milk)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup peanut butter M&Ms, chopped (optional)
- 3½ ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Beat butter, sugars, and peanut butter in a large bowl using an electric mixer until light and creamy (about 2 or 3 minutes). Mix in milk and vanilla. Stir in flour and salt and mix on low speed until incorporated. Stir in M&Ms, if using.
- Spread the dough over the top of the cooled brownies. Refrigerate while you make the glaze.
- Melt chocolate and butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. Once melted, pour the mixture over the top of the cookie dough and spread into a thin layer. Chill until set, about 30 minutes.
- Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

10 EASY SLOW COOKER MEALS RECIPE BOOK
Hello There!
Interestingly enough, I didn’t grow up with an interest in cooking.  In fact, I informed my mother on multiple occasions that I was not getting an advanced education so I could spend my evenings preparing meals.
Grab My Cookbook!
I WOULD TOTALLY BLOW MY DIET FOR THESE! Word to live by! Thanks so much for participating!
There is no way this dough would be safe for me to eat right out of the bowl. It would never make it in the pan. Love peanut butter and chocolate – sorry but I better not make these – I would be way too happy!
My mouth is watering, Ashley! These brownies look perfect — from the fudgy base to that sinful chunk of peanut butter cookie dough to the irresistibly smooth ganache on top. Save me ten, okay? I’m headed over!
These look delicious Ashley! I’ll take the whole batch! 🙂
These sort of remind me of Buckeye Brownies which I absolutely adore! I could probably live on these. Just perfect!
Ashley, what a scrumptious and creative cookie dough recipe! I had to laugh out loud when you wrote about those skinny jeans wearers … I have to say that it’s totally worth not having to put them on for a week just to eat this! Pinning and sharing!
Who needs skinny jeans anyway!
I will happily set aside my skinny jeans for a pan of these. WOW! pinned 🙂
