Ooooh, these are so stinkin’ cute, Ashley! I love your jarred desserts–they always look so pretty and petite and you’re right–instant portion control for people like me who could easily eat vats of the stuff. My family’s fourth tradition is usually to grill some good food and hang out. We don’t usually do fireworks, actually (our dogs get too scared) but we like watching neighborhood fireworks or watching the festivities on TV.

4th of July tradition with my family is a great big backyard party (c0mplete with professional-level fireworks!) that unfortunately is not happening this year…So I feel compelled to start a new tradition with my friends on the other side of the country 🙂 Can you say excuse to make red, white, and blue goodies & celebrate America!?
Crock Pot Ladies sent me and I see your bug, Will. This is too much fun! New follower having a ball!
Love the white chocolate in your Red White and Blue! 🙂 Definately making this. Thanks for the giveaway!

Well I am going to QUIT putting Jam in my little 4 oz. jars and save them for desserts, how cute! I AM very sad that I only saw this recipe, just now, I am not able to “get it together” in time to make these for tonight’s 4th of July dinner!
My mom loves fireworks, so we always find a way to watch them. The past few years we’ve gone to a local park that has a great view of ones a country club nearby does (without the $80 entrance fee to the club’s party with not very great food)!
I am so happy to see the instant puddung and Cool Whip. I mean, sometimes you have time and energy for whipping cream, etc., and sometimes you just want to throw something yummy together. Thanks!
We use the 4th of July as family time…sometimes we grill and sometimes we just hang out and go to the movies…
By the way, using small mason jars as dessert cups is soo great! Thank you for the idea!
These are perfect! I have tons of mason jars since we use them as drinking glasses between canning seasons 🙂 The best part of this idea is that you don’t have to bring a knife and cut the pie, etc. (I’m a terrible pie cutter even under the best circumstances). Thanks for the giveaway! Patti Smith recently posted..Summer Reads Giveaway Hop! July 6-11
oops, I forgot to say that we grill like crazy, swim and eat watermelon every single year…my 8 year old added the Pledge of Allegience to our traditions this year 🙂 Patti Smith recently posted..Summer Reads Giveaway Hop! July 6-11

Yeah, I’m thinking I need to start eating all of my meals out of jars for “portion control.” Might be worth a try. 🙂

These are so cute. I could eat one right now.
These look wonderful and I adore desserts in a jar… if for some bizarre reason you don’t finish, you can easily save it for later!
