EEEKKK!!! This is an awesome recipe! I think it looks darn tasty! You already know we’re big soup people so I’ll be making this one soon. Sounds like the perfect football Sunday food! Meghan @ The Tasty Fork recently posted..Perdue Chicken Giveaway and Three 5 Minute Sauces
I made this for a luncheon with my co-workers today and everyone loved it, I especially did! Perfect comfort food and discovered just in time for those long cold days! I’m going to have to make it again to try with chips as someone else suggested.
I made this tonight for my clients (I work in a home for adults with trautic brain injuries) I tried it, and it taste like a cheeseburger! I used ground turkey, and green onions because we are out of regular onions, I also added some mushrooms. I used tillamook cheddar cheese and it made the soup a little grainy. But it sure taste good. They are going to love it. The added mushrooms are really good
For Christmas I got a new slow cooker that has a metal pot instead of a ceramic crock, and you can put the pot on the stove top to cook ingredients before slow cooking. This looks like a great recipe to test the slow cooker with! It also looks very yummy. Tomorrow I’m already planning to make cauliflower soup, but I’ll try to make this recipe in a couple of weeks! Yum. I’ll probably be a weirdo and sprinkle my serving with chopped pickles, can’t have a cheeseburger without pickles π Cheese with Noodles recently posted..Cookies and Cream Cake
I just made the cheeseburger soup, the flavors are yummy, but its not that thick as in the picture. How do i make it thicker, I used 4 oz. of the velveeta (all i had left) with some cheddar any suggestions?
Thanks for the recipe! I made a few alterations for my family: made it on the stove top, used 1/2 pound beef (which was enough), used vegetable broth (I will use more next time), and used 2 oz velveeta plus a Tbsp of spreadable feta (plenty cheesy for us). It turned out good.
I am serving this as a scrumptious intimate Valentine’s Supper on this cold, very snowy day along with homemade bread and a chocolate Tort. one can’t go wrong.
Thanks for the recipie, I look forward to trying it. It seems to be the best!
I made this soup and wrote about it here. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. It’s my daughter’s new favorite soup! It really does taste like a cheeseburger in soup form!!
I made this soup this weekend and it was awesome! I added ketchup at the very end and more mustard and it really was liquid cheeseburger! Sooo awesome!
