Slow Cooker Pot Roast – Easy Meal Plan Sunday {Week 8}

Happy Sunday, everyone!  I hope you’ve all had a great week and are ready for another great week to start!  I’m super excited this week because one of my closest friends is coming to visit me here in Kansas all the way from Seattle.  Needless to say, I might not be doing alot of cooking (maybe some grilling out), but I still like to be prepared!  🙂  For those of you who are cooking all week…I’ve got 6 dinners, 1 breakfast, 2 desserts, and a healthier option, all picked by people who know what’s yummy!

Even if I’m not doing a lot of cooking this week – I’ve still got my eye on that slow cooker pot roast!  I love to use my slow cooker when I have company because that means I get to spend more time entertaining and less time in the kitchen.  Maybe I’ll serve that slow cooker raspberry hot fudge cake to go along with it, what do you think?  I’m thinking it sounds like a smart plan.

If you need some other ideas, make sure to click on over to my Recipe Index and take a look around – or you can follow me over on Pinterest to see some of my favorite dinner recipes.  Either way, enjoy this edition of Easy Meal Plan Sunday.

Hello There!

Interestingly enough, I didn’t grow up with an interest in cooking.  In fact, I informed my mother on multiple occasions that I was not getting an advanced education so I could spend my evenings preparing meals.

This Vintage Cake combines two layers of white cake, with a surprise brownie layer soaked in a decadent chocolate sauce. And the cream cheese frosting takes it right over the top!
