What’s In Your Kitchen Wednesday

What’s In Your Kitchen Wednesday

Hey guys!  I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July holiday.  We had great weather here this year and enjoyed some awesome family time at the pool and around the grill.  Last Saturday, we hosted a family birthday party for Doodle – 20+ people in my living area is a tight squeeze!  This weekend, we’re hosting a kids-only birthday party at the karate school on Saturday, and a pool party for the t-ball team on Sunday.

I’m about partied out! 😉

Well, except for this party!  Let’s get on to the features!

This week’s top viewed post was Skinny Ice Cream Sandwiches from Crazy for Crust.  Aren’t these the cutest things you’ve ever seen?  Plus, you don’t have to feel guilty about eating them.  Double SCORE.

And while we had great temperatures for the holiday, we’re back into the 100’s here this week…so I’m totally wishing I had a slice of this Bailey’s Chocolate Ice Cream Pie from Confessions of a Baking Queen to cool me down!

We LOVE to grill in the summer, and with this handy-dandy grilling tutorial from The Tasty Fork, you’ll be able to grill chicken perfectly every time!

Are you looking for easy, no-heat side dishes to go along with your summer grilling dishes?  Mom’s Test Kitchen has you covered with these 50 Beat the Heat Pasta Salad Recipes.

And, if you’re looking for other meals to make this summer that won’t heat up your kitchen try these Shredded Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches from Tastes of Lizzy T.  They look delish!

Thank you all so much for coming back each week to make this party a great success!  I love seeing all of your great creations, and it’s such an awesome way for me to find new blogs to stalk read.

Ashlee, thanks so much for posting my chicken how to! I’m glad I posted that when I did. I haven’t been able to grill in a few weeks b/c of all of the bad weather. I hope it stops soon!!
