Um, how friggin’ cute are these?! SO simple yet totally brilliant–you are so brilliant, Ashley, you have no idea. And hello, us food bloggers are like magazines–we’re practically over with Christmas (okay, please say we aren’t because I haven’t even started thinking about it yet–eek!) before the season is even here. I’m sure on Christmas Day, we’ll be making Easter cut-out cookies. Whatev, haters. Eat your dang early-holiday cookie. I want five of these rightnow! Aw, these are so cute! I have seen melted snowman cookies before, but they were MUCH more involved. Your method looks a lot easier and is nearly as charming but with a heck of a lot less work. Also, your method involves peanut butter cups (a huge plus!) and a yummy chocolate cookie instead of a boring sugar cookie! Last year I considered making melted snowman cookies and wrote down a plan for simplifying the process, but your way is even easier. I think I will give them a try in a couple of weeks! Hi Terri. Jimmies are a type of sprinkle–typically jimmies are long and thin, like in the snowman’s nose. You should be able to find them at any grocery store or craft store.
Hey, these are still going strong at the end of January! Great job. Found them on, of all places, Reeses’ Facebook page! And hey, who says these are only holidayish? Some parts of the country have snow from Oct-April! I might just make some for my grandbabies next week! Thanks!
