What’s in Your Kitchen Wednesday

What’s in Your Kitchen Wednesday

This past week has been full of milestones at my house.  We made a trip to the emergency room, lost two teeth in one day, and started the first grade.

So, please…someone pass the cupcakes. 😉

No really, I’m stress eating and I need.more.sugar.

Sugar aside, we’re eating healthy on school mornings this year, and I’ve teamed up with The American Egg Board to offer one of you a year’s supply of eggs.  So make sure you enter!

This week’s top viewed post was this Strawberry Lavender Cake from Blahnik Baker.  Isn’t it gorgeous?

And because I’ve got cupcakes on the brain this week, check out these Oatmeal Creme Pie Cupcakes from The Brunette Baker.  They have marshmallow buttercream frosting, ya’ll.

As much as we love Mexican food around my house, we’re equal opportunists when it comes to Asian food.  So, we’re totally making this Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry from This Silly Girl’s Life.

And eek!  I”m so excited that Becca is as much of a pumpkin lover as I am…anyone else ready for Fall baking?  Then make sure to check out these Mini Pumpkin Chocolate Muffins from Crumbs and Chaos.

And, if you’re like me, and looking for school lunch ideas, check out this awesome list from Growing Up Gabel!

Thank you all so much for coming back each week to make this party a great success! I love seeing all of your great creations, and it’s such an awesome way for me to find new blogs to stalk read.

Hello There!

Interestingly enough, I didn’t grow up with an interest in cooking.  In fact, I informed my mother on multiple occasions that I was not getting an advanced education so I could spend my evenings preparing meals.

This Vintage Cake combines two layers of white cake, with a surprise brownie layer soaked in a decadent chocolate sauce. And the cream cheese frosting takes it right over the top!
